I know I have discussed the issues surrounding digestive issues before, but it has been a popular topic of late, and I felt it beneficial to bring it up (no pun intended), in this post, to remind you of the benefits of correct eating.

 

I am not talking about eating five fruits and veges per day, although that is always a good idea, but rather, concentrating on the fact that we need to look at the way we mix our foods, or what foods we eat with other foods, and the order we do so in.

Imagine the stomach is a sack, full of all your mixed uo food.

 

Now, some of the food you eat is alkali, and other teypes are more acidic. An example of acidic foods are citrus fruits, like oranges and grape fruit.

 

If this food is mixed with very alkali foods as well, the effect can be a ‘bad’ chemical reaction in your stomach, and different foods fderment, or decompose at different rates.

 

The end result can be gas, bloating, general discomfort, and pain for people.
